I probably still am in my old graduate department, and that circle probably includes my ex and his old advisor.
I had no idea how to move forward, and no one to ask. I lost everything I’d wanted to do with my life since I was 6 years old or younger. I’m still adjusting to spending my life doing something lesser that I was not meant to do, not designed to do.
If either of them ever needed someone to call 911 for them, and I’m the only other person in the room, they are going bye-bye.
