Ya think?

A few things about that:
1) It's sexist to hold women to higher standards than men.
2) Women *are* better than men on that issue, by a wide margin.
3) White evangelical women face significant vote suppression from white evangelical men.

Vote suppression here means violence.

This is part of the reason why I am unforgiving when it comes to women who are just concerned with how “cute” they are to “boys” and so won’t vote for another woman. There is a woman somewhere who is afraid to register as a Democrat because she has to run to collect the mail during election season before her husband does it and sees that a mailer for a Democratic candidate has been dropped off at their house. There are quite a few women somewhere, actually.
