Hey, six flats, seven flats, whatever.

So now I’m pondering whether I want to hop into Abm. I sat there, poked a little … and realized that for all my complaining about being in a six-flat key, I’d just added a flat. Seven flats. There’s only seven notes in a diatonic scale, and if I end up in Abm, I’m flatting every stinking one of them.

I am never going near the black keys again, I swear it now before the universe and all beings residing within its embrace. Three flats to four sharps. That’s as accidental as I get anymore.
