Stuff I should listen to with a score in hand to mark up

Okay, if I’m going to learn to do this, I need to study stuff:

  1. Mendelssohn’s Italian, the piece of music that sounds like a 4 year old on Christmas morning looks
  2. Mozart’s overture to the “Marriage of Figaro”
  3. Beethoven’s 7th, the second movement
  4. Brahms’ 4th, the 1st and 2nd movements
  5. Brahms’ 1st, the 4th movement

Eventually, I’ll have to do this with entire pieces but for now, movement-by-movement is fine. Gotta go print me some scores. Thank dawg for IMSLP!
