Also pleased to hear them all discuss the semi-classical and orchestral feel to the album (which I agree with), and Perry’s statement about the best creativity arising in the areas of greatest tension among them all — and how the triangle of tension among them seemed to create the best work, from them all trying to tug the rope in different directions. He’s right. Art arises from tension, and the greatest art springs forth from the greatest place of tension … provided the rope doesn’t pull apart.
